Sarah and Jonathan were married on a quiet January morning–the quietest I’ve ever seen Temple Square. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves! The magical morning sunrise outdid the cold, and they survived. Only these two could make such a frigid day look so beautiful.
They were surrounded by so many friends and family on their special day–as in line going out the door for hours and hours at the reception–and it just goes to show how lovable these two are. They have a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel like the most important person in the world. It was beautiful to see how many dear friends they had there to support them on the biggest day of their lives.
Sarah and Jonathan, thank you so much for letting me be part of such a wonderful, wonderful day. It was an honor.

I’ve been cooking up a HUGE special offer for you. It’s so huge, I’m not even worried about hyping it up too much so that when you see it you’re disappointed–it’s that good.
Baby Girl wiggles and kicks inside of me every day and it still doesn’t feel real.
I’m 26 weeks along with this baby girl. I giggle every night to my husband about snuggling her and watching her sleep and doing all kinds of crazy-obsessed-parent things. I don’t know what her name will be or have a clue what she’ll look like or if she’ll be mad for jazz music and creating like her mama or a sports guru/acoustic guitar master like her daddy. Also I want her to be able to talk to me right away and tell me how she feels about everything so we can have a constant stream of girl talk from the moment she is born.

First, I just want to say THANK YOU and extend a big virtual hug to all of you who supported
Excited to get down with your soulful self?
I’m constantly striving for authenticity in my life, business, and photography. But today I’m really going out on a limb, and telling you things I probably shouldn’t. It’s unprofessional. It’s mushy. There are no snappy tips or practical advice. But I hope you feel connection in knowing another human feels these things like you have, and that you’ll glean some kernel of wisdom for your own soulful life.
2. I haven’t shaved my legs in weeks.
4. I am more unsure about the future than I ever have been. Like, in my whole life.

I was beaming the day it finally came out. I just sat there, looking at the glossy pages for the longest time–in the grocery store, with my cart full of eggs and ziploc bags and bread and milk–and an issue of Martha Stewart Weddings 2013.
