Personal Work: On The Homefront

September 11, 2012 •

This project was born of my morning runs around my neighborhood in Provo, Utah. I’d slow down to look at the houses, so different in time period and color and shape and size and I loved them.

Photographing the beauty in my own backyard is eye-opening and leaves me amazed at the variety of wonder in the world.

All: Canonet QL 17, Ektar 100. That’s film, peeps. I love it more every day.

Your challenge: get out and document your beautiful corner of the planet.

I love these! Now I’m thinking more about taking a film class after looking at these. They’re very fun! p.s. I pretty much threw away my kit lens:) and I’ve also been working on personal work. It’s so fun to feel like I’m improving!
