Fall Inspiration: Alisha

October 3, 2011 •

Since I’ve been aching to wear brown and boots and sweaters and scarves for like, two months now (despite Utah’s lack of cooperation), I wanted to do a little fall-y sesh with my gorgeous sister-in-law Alisha. And can I just say? She is awesome in every way, with the most infectious personality and the ability to make instant friends with anyone. Also, she wants to have an orangutang as a pet/child…uh, whaaa? But that’s just who she is: crazy about furry animals who sometimes rip people’s faces off and insanely stylish. Ha, jk. (I will never stop loving tacky abbreves, peeps. It is what it is.) No, really: she is just NICE not to mention gorgeous and stylish and I am obsessed with her hair.

ALSO. She runs a business in which you can DESIGN YOUR OWN WEDDING DRESS ONLINE. So if you’re a bride with vision sick of cookie-cutter blah-ness…and maybe you’ve got a little bit of creativity-that-could-be-interpreted-as-control-freakishness (you know? it’s fine. I was totally that bride. Don’t let anybody push you around or tell you you’re a control freak, girl. Wait. Clarification: I am that person. ha.) who wants something custom and unique to you, Alisha is your lady. It’s incredibly easy and actually a lot more affordable than you might think–especially for the designer element the dresses have, this is probably one of the best-kept secrets in the Utah wedding market–forget it, even the wedding market in general! And you know I’m not biased one bit…

Aite. Without further ado, the gorgeous Alisha.

How incredible is she? And doesn’t this just make you want to snuggle up in a sweater and go out into the wind?

Brooke Schultz photographs people who love life and who love each other! I’m still booking a couple more weddings in Utah this year, so hollerrr (still in love with lame expressions and the ghetto-fab. no judgin.) brookebee at gmail dot com.

ALSO. Hey. I want to tell you that I’m an open book about photography–so if you have questions about how I do stuff, ask away! And a little plug for some upcoming goodness: I’m gonna talk about Photoshop/editing and shooting and other behind-the-scenes jazz that will be helpful to hobby photographers and professionals alike! stayyy tuned.

Wore my boots and a sweater tonight, despite the temperature being 75 degrees. I couldn’t help myself! I love how you captured the wind in these pics. Alisha, you are gorgeous! And a natural. You too, Broooooke.
