Haley + Logan: Southworth Hall Provo Wedding

Haley and Logan were married on an overcast day in the Provo temple. Even though they had friends and family galore there to support them, the whole day had this lovely quiet serenity. They celebrated at Southworth Hall downtown and I don’t know if I’ve ever known a kinder couple–Haley and Logan were full of love and gratitude to every person who came, and spent their time making each guest feel like a million bucks. I’d bet money that’s how they move through their lives when no one is watching, too, and there couldn’t be a better foundation for a marriage than that kind of selflessness in my book.

Hilary + Ryan: Salt Lake City Mountain Bridals

Hilary and Ryan met and started dating back in high school. They watched their friends meet, date, and get married while they grew their love, and OH it’s a good one. The kinds of weddings that are a long time coming get to skip a lot of uncertainty and go straight for complete joy and perfect celebration–the best.

Jenny + Josh: Wedding at The Rose Establishment

Jenny and Josh met online, and they couldn’t love each other more. They wanted their wedding to focus on candid moments, the little things that happen that get lost in the hugeness of the day.

These two were wed in the Salt Lake temple and celebrated at The Rose Establishment in downtown Salt Lake, a beautiful spot that was a perfect reflection of Jenny’s love for architecture and interior design and a great backdrop for dancing. We made a quick escape to the roof for some sunset photos of the two of them, and the whole of their wedding was simply everything a wedding should be.

Liz and Todd on their wedding day. Their cheeks must have been exhausted from the size of those smiles–not only do they have the best smiles, they give each other the best, squeeziest hugs. The kind you want to be squished in the middle of, no matter who you are. Love like theirs is the stuff dreams are made of.

Jessica is the wonder woman behind Jessica Kettle Photography , and I was honored to photograph her family. We decided to focus on photos of her with her girls–as a mom, you never get photos of your kids with you; add being a photographer on top of that and it’s a recipe for no proof that you were ever even there. Which is ghastly, considering you are the one doing the ins and outs of dressing, helping to the potty, tickling, hair brushing, tantrum managing, and snuggling.
